Floyd Mayweather Jr tied Rocky Marciano’s immaculate 49-0 record after dominating Andre Berto in a lopsided fight. The defensive genius and pure boxing ability of Mayweather made it relatively easy to beat Berto by unanimous decision, the fight itself was more of a sparring match than a main event. Many people, including the Vegas sports books, heavily favored Floyd Mayweather to win by decision and it was no surprise that became the end result. The undercard fights featuring Salido vs. Martinez proved to be worth the pay-per-view buy as it made for one of the best undercards in a Mayweather fight.
