Nebraska Honors Punter Sam Foltz, Family Gets Home Robbed During the Game

Nebraska Cornhuskers football was dealt a rough blow to the team after Sam Foltz, the Punter, was tragically killed in a car accident over the summer coming back from a kicking camp in Wisconsin. Nebraska honored their fallen teammate by lining up with 10 men and no punter during their first three-and-out of the season. Fresno State opted to decline the penalty and the following play they lined up with the correct formation. Unfortunately for the Foltz family, no good deed goes unpunished, as somebody broke into Sam’s brothers home and stole around $1,400 worth of valuables.
