Black Monday swept through the NFL like a hurricane leaving seven open positions heading into the 2016 season. The most surprising dismissal belongs to Lovie Smith, who looked to have won over the Tampa Bay Bucs locker room and put the pieces in place for Jameis Winston to thrive in Florida. Tom Coughlin resigned and gave an emotional farewell to the New York Giants, where he won two Super Bowls over a 12 year period. Eli Manning shed some tears for his only head coach at the NFL level, and many speculated that Coughlin snubbed owner John Mara on the way out. The Browns, 49ers, Bucs, Giants, Eagles, Titans and Dolphins are all holding interviews to find the next head coach for their organizations.
