The UFC is bringing the hammer down on drug use within the sport as part of a new policy that includes third party drug testing. The UFC and other MMA organizations want to have the best regulated approach to drug testing and the new policies in place leave little wiggle room for athletes who test positive from marijuana use to steroids. Nick Diaz was made the first example within the new system as he was handed a five year competition ban for testing positive for marijuana for a third time since 2007.
