Manchester United fans got a severe scare when Old Trafford was forced to evacuate after a bomb scare ahead of their final Premier League match of the season against Bournemouth. A security company was running tests with their K9 unit, and accidentally left one of the mock bombs behind, one that is designed to look exactly like a real bomb, save for the explosive quality that could harm anybody in actuality. The device was found ahead of the game and reported, but security detail at the match made sure everybody evacuated the stadium before bringing in the bomb squad to check out the situation.
As for the Premier League table, Leicester City, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City (in order) will be competing in the Champions League next season after Manchester United fell one spot shy of the coveted competition. Arsenal’s roller coaster season was somehow salvaged by finishing as runner up, while Tottenham looks like a strong contender for years to come.
