The interdivisional match ups for Week 17 created a handful of games with playoff implications, none more enticing than the Sunday Night Football game between the Vikings and the Packers. With the NFC North division title on the line, and ever important playoff seeings, the Vikings handled the Packers 20-13, stopping Rodgers three times from a fourth quarter comeback. Although the Vikings won, Mason Crosby was given a Turk honor from Jayar Jackson after chasing down Cordarrelle Patterson on a return and forcing a fumble in the fourth quarter.
The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Arizona Cardinals 36-6 and both Russell Wilson and Tyler Lockette were given Turk of the week honors from Ben Mank and Jason Rubin. It seems like nobody wants to face the red hot Seahawks, who are looking to return to the Super Bowl for the third straight season.
The Jurks of week 17 mostly belonged to the Rams vs. 49ers game, which ended up 19-16 in favor of the Niners. Jim Tomsula was fired after a 5-11 season, but the game itself was borderline unwatchable.
