The 2015 Baseball Hall of Fame ballot was stacked. Only four of the potential double digit hall of famers on the ballot earned the 75% of the vote needed to be granted entry into baseball’s highest honor. Randy Johnson, Craig Biggio, Pedro Martinez and John Smoltz rounded out those who impressed the baseball writers most, and also easily deserved a spot in the HOF. As predicted by league sources, the steroid era of baseball weighed heavily on the vote and seemingly prevented that of Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa and Roger Clemens to be voted in.
