The NBA awards were finally given out last night with Russell Westbrook winning league MVP after an incredible regular season in which he averaged a triple double the entire year. A lot of debate has been brought up as to what the MVP award signifies and means essentially, is it the player that has the best regular season that year? Or is it who is the most valuable player to their team? Both Russell Westbrook and James Harden had incredible regular seasons and led their teams to the playoffs, but do you think the voters got it wrong by making Westbrook league MVP? The otther awards were also handed out like Draymond Green winning Defensive Player of the Year, the Greek Freak winning most improved player and Eric Gordon winning the sixth man of the year award. Jason and Francis share their thoughts on the NBA awards and what the award should ultimately mean.
