“Golden State Warriors shooting guard Thompson has been linked with a stunning move to the Lakers.
And despite insisting he wants to be a Warriror for life, his father has said he should move closer to home - in LA.
Mychal Thompson, who won two NBA championships with the Lakers in his five seasons in LA, reckons his side would be fine with taking a back seat to James, who moved from Cleveland in the biggest trade deal this summer.
“You are talking about guys for whom pecking order becomes really important,” Mychal told ESPN."
