The NFL season sure does move fast.
On Sunday afternoon, a team that may have heard it had a lumbering defensive front, an underfunded carousel of wide receivers who couldn’t separate, or even a depleted rushing attack where a rookie first-rounder and a Super Bowl record-setter didn’t seem to be enough, hit the mute button.
Gone was what transpired the Sunday prior against the Detroit Lions. Or the Sunday prior to that against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
If the Patriots were listening, they certainly did their part to hear less this week."
