The New England Patriots defeated the Kansas City Chiefs to advance to their 10th AFC Championship Game since 2001. Tom Brady and Rob Gronnkowksi hooked up for two touchdowns in the otherwise strong performance in Foxborough. With plenty of time in the 4th quarter, the Chiefs were down two scores and horribly mismanaged the clock. West punched in a touchdown to bring the game within one score, but the drive lasted over 5:00 long, and the Chiefs failed on the onside kick attempt. The internet exploded over Andy Reid’s clock management, an issue he has faced multiple times in the past.
The Patriots will meet the winner of the Steelers vs. Broncos game on Sunday.
