The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 18-16 on Saturday in the second game of the AFC Wild Card. The wild 4th quarter finish included a 16 point Bengals comeback on the arm of A.J. McCarron and elite wide receiver A.J. Green, but a series of personal fouls on Vontaze Burfict and Adam “Pacman” Jones resulted in a game winning field goal on the leg of Steelers kicker Chris Boswell. Burfict was a catalyst in the Bengals comeback and almost sealed the win after intercepting the Steelers with less than three minutes in the 4th quarter, but Jeremy Hill coughed up the ball to give Pittsburgh another shot a game winning drive. Ben Roethlisberger, who was knocked out of the game earlier (on a Vontaze Burfict sack), re-entered with a bum shoulder, but he orchestrated enough offense to get the win.
