The Washington Wizards have become a heavyweight contender in the Eastern Conference behind the high speed PG presence of John Wall and significant pieces that he is surrounded by. Marcin Gortat has stepped up to be a well rounded big man and the addition of veteran Paul Pierce has had a strong impact on the team in 2014-2015. The Eastern Conference has seen the likes of the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls begin to take form for a playoff run and Washington is looking to compete.
