- Synopsis : Sim Deoksu is a rather rich man who owns many different properties. Though he always demands that his tenants pay the rent on time, inside, he cares for his tenants and he is deeply compassionate. After demanding the rent from one of his tenants, Mr. Choi, he finds Mr. Choi's body hanging from the ceiling of his room the next day. The police investigate the scene and declare it as a suicide due to financial difficulties. This worsens Sim Deoksu's reputation amongst people in the neighborhood. Sim Deoksu runs into Park Pyeongdal, a former detective, who claims that this is not a simple suicide, it is another death in a series of serial killings that occurred in Ahri-dong 30 years ago. Pyeongdal claims that the demon from 30 years ago has returned. Sim Deoksu was initially doubtful of Park Pyeongdal's claims, but when he finds the another dead body in the room of Jieun, another one of his tenants, he's convinced that Pyeongdal is onto something. Deoksu wants to tell the police, but Pyeongdal explains that if he goes to the police, Jieun's life may be in danger. These two old men, Deoksu and Pyeongdal, take matters into their own hands and investigate to try and save the life of the young girl, Jieun.
