신성록(이혁)은 그동안 장나라(오써니)가 수집한 황실 비리 증거들을 불태운다. 신성록은 분노한 장나라에게 "내 옆에서 아무것도 하지 말고 죽은 듯이 내 여자로 살아"라고 하며 강제적 키스를 한다.

'The Last Empress' is story of a musical actress Oh Ssu Ni(Jang Na Ra) who suddenly getting married with emperor Lee Hyuk(Shin Sung Rok). Oh Ssu Ni gets in a fight against absolute power of the palace, and entangled with the murder of the emperor's grandmother as she finds true love and happiness with Na Wang Sik(Choi Jin Hyuk) her way through palace life.
