根據《2021年人口普查》，全港獨居及雙老家庭約有32萬戶，而當中隱藏着不少「隱蔽長者」，他們與社會隔離，欠缺家庭或朋輩支援，亦沒有正常的社交生活和網絡，更不懂得尋求社會人士協助。而勞工及福利局於2023年的資料顯示，全港目前有214間長者地區中心，正接受個案服務跟進的隱蔽及需要照顧的長者約9,000人。究竟我們熱鬧繁榮的社會背後，這批「隱蔽長者」，有何需要？目前的政策，又能否照顧他們的需要呢？
