The NFL kicked off its regular season on Thursday with a Denver Broncos 21-20 victory over the Carolina Panthers. The rematch of last years Super Bowl proved to be a much closer game, although many different aspects were up in the air opposed to last season. Peyton Manning was in Denver, but not behind center, as Trevor Siemian took over as the Broncos QB and looked poised, but not excellent. Cam Newton looked like the reigning MVP for the first half, but got hounded and targeted in the second half.
