Copa America Centenario kicks off on June 3 and the competition’s special edition will take place in the USA, which one would think gives the USMNT an advantage. In some part of the country, this holds true, but in others, take Southern California for example, there is an equal, if not larger, fan base for Mexico. The USMNT is looking to impress in their first major competition since the 2014 World Cup where they made it out of the Group Stage. The USMNT’s group features Colombia and Costa Rica, and oddsmakers have given them a 37 percent chance of advancing to the knockout stage, with a 1.1 percent chance of winning the whole tournament.
