Chuck Bowling - Expanision of Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas - Unravel Travel TV

Chuck Bowling, President & COO of Mandalay Bay and Delano Las Vegas talks about the reasons behind expanding the Mandalay Bay Convention Center on the Las Vegas Strip. Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino opened a 350,000-square-foot expansion to its convention center and welcomed its first group, MAGIC, into the new space this week. The expansion includes new exhibit space, a 20,000-square-foot foyer and underground parking in this first phase of the project. Construction began in October 2014 and upon completion of the project in January 2016, the Mandalay Bay Convention Center will boast more than 2 million total square feet and over 900,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space.
