Miguel Cotto looked like an advanced and more experienced version of his younger, dominant self in his fight against Daniel Geale at the Barclays Center over the weekend. Cotto finished Geale in FOUR rounds after a major left hook connected and dropped Geale to the floor. Geale was able to get back up after the devastating shot, but called the fight before the round was over, unable to proceed against Miguel Cotto. The big win for Cotto and use of blitz and jab combos sets up a Miguel Cotto vs. Canelo Alvarez mega fight this year, which is what Cotto stated afterwords.
