The Canelo Alvarez vs. Erislandy Lara fight that occured Saturday night at Las Vegas MGM Grand was nothing short of controversy. Alvarez possibly came away with a political boxing win, opposed to a more fairly scored fight that most likely would have resulted in Lara being the victor. Alvarez landed more power punches, but Lara worked his jab and landed a larger percentage.
