The Miami Heat have announced that they have waived forward Chris Bosh, and will be retiring his #1 jersey. After missing the entire 2016-2017 season with a blood clot, doctors informed Bosh that his basketball career would most likely be over. This was an issue that had dated back to the 2015-2016 season and unfortunately for Bosh just never went away leading to his playing career in basketball to be done with. Bosh ranks in the top 5 of Heat history in points, defensive rebounds and free throw percentage. No doubt a Heat great, and helped them secure 2 rings during the big 3 era of the Miami Heat.
