Lovie Smith Hired by Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Lovie Smith's Chicago Bears tenure ended after a 10-6 record but failure to reach the Super Bowl after 2006. Though he was a winning coach, and a players coach, Smith was out of a job in 2012 until today, when he was hired by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Smith, 55, takes over a Bucs team that just fired Greg Schiano after two tumultuous seasons and chaos in the locker room. Smith started his NFL coaching career with Tampa Bay back in 1996.
