Michael Sam SHOULD Be On an Active Roster

Jeff Schultz wrote a piece on Michael Sam in the window between getting cut by the St. Louis Rams and being picked up on the Dallas Cowboys practice squad. In his piece, Schultz brings to light, and backed by statistics, a multitude of reasons as to why Michael Sam should be on an active roster, all of which are because he is a good NFL player who proved himself during the preseason. The underlying message is that the NFL and many of the teams are making it believable that Sam's choice of sexual orientation has "no effect" on why he has not made an active roster, it is very clear that it does.
