Coach K and his staff cut down the Team USA basketball roster to 30 remaining players, and more cuts will follow as they can only bring 12 men to Rio for the 2016 Olympics. Team USA is looking to bring home a third straight gold medal after finishing in first in 2008 and 2012. LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony were both a part of the back-to-back gold medal squads and will likely get their shot at victory again. Damian Lillard, Dwyane Wade and Deron Williams were left off of the 30 man roster causing some outcry that they should have made the cut.
