Onstage K _ Deepflow ＆ Backstage

Hip hop is a very popular music genre in Korea with a wide audience, but it was considered non-mainstream music up until not so long ago. Despite that, Deepflow persistently pursued his career as a hip hop musician, helping the genre enjoy its prime in the country. Let's meet Deepflow on this week's edition of ONSTAGE K.
Deepflow deducted in 2003 as a guest rapper of Rhyme Attack's album and released his first solo album, "Yanghwa," this year. With his roots in hardcore hip hop, his music sounds very wild and rough, displaying the essence of Korean-style hip hop.
비주류였던 한국힙합은 2015년 현재 음악계의 대세가 되어 버렸다. 하지만 처음부터 지금까지 시대의 바람에 흔들리지 않고 언더그라운드 정신를 지키고 있는 딥플로우! 한국 힙합신에서 한 다리만 건너면 딥플로우와 연결되지 않는 사람이 없다는 농담이 있을 정도로 부지런히 활동해 온 그를 만나본다.
하드코어를 기반으로한 거칠고 투박한 음악성향을 지니고 있는 딥플로우는 2003년 라임어택 피쳐링으로 데뷔했다. MC 외에도 프로듀싱과 CD 커버 디자인 등을 하면서 자신의 재능을 유감없이 발휘하고 있다. 올해 3년 만에 솔로정규앨범 '양화'로 웰메이드힙합앨범이라는 호평을 받았다.
