Onstage K _ Koh Sang-ji(고상지) & El Dia Que Me Quieras

An engineering student with an obsessive interest in animation dropped out of her prestigious university due to her passion for a rather mysterious genre of music. It's tango musician Koh Sang-ji. A few years later, she became the most famous bandoneon player in Korea. She has played a significant role in making tango and the bandoneon approachable to a wider audience here in Korea, and she’s the guest of this week’s ONSTAGE K.
Koh Sang-ji studied under world-renowned bandoneon player Komatsu Ryota from 2006 to 2009 and then in Argentina from 2009. She made herself known to the domestic listeners through her collaborations with various respected artists, such as Kim Dong-ryul, Jung Jae-hyung, Yoon Sang and Harim, upon coming back to Korea. Her first album, "MAYCGRE 1.0," released September last year, received critical acclaim and also displays the distinct beauty of the genre that changed the life of Koh Sang-ji.

카이스트 재학시절 밴드부 활동을 하던 중 반도네온을 접하고 2006년 세계적인 반도네온 연주자인 고마츠료타를 사사한 뒤 009년 탱고의 본고장인 아르헨티나로 건너가 유학생활을 했다. 그 이후 하림, 김동률, 정재형, 윤상 등 다양한 장르의 아티스트들과의 연을 통해 국내에 이름을 알렸다. 지난해 9월 자신이 사랑하는 애니메이션에 대한 애정이 첫 정규앨범 'Maycgre 1.0'을 발매하며평단의 호평을 받았다.
