ONSTAGE K _ Third Stone(써드스톤) & Psychemoon

Third Stone is noted as one of the first native psychedelic rock bands in Korea. Comprised of guitarist and vocalist Park Sang-do, drummer Ahn Seong-yong and bassist Park Jin-won, the band was named after the song "Third Stone from the Sun" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience. This band debuted in 2007 with the album, "Third Stone," and then released the second album, "I'm Not A Blues Man," in 2009, which reflects Park Sang-do's life and experiences in the U.S. Then they released their critically acclaimed third album, "Psychemoon," in November 2011 and has been diversifying Korean music with their psychedelic music based on blues rock.
2007년에 데뷔 앨범을 발표했지만 대중적, 비평적 반응을 거의 받지 못하고 밴드의 중심이었던 멤버는 크게 상심... 2011년에 미국 유학길에 올랐다. 그리고 우연히 거리 연주자에게서 그동안 한 번도 보지 못한 스타일을 접한 것이 이 밴드의 터밍포인트가 된다. 블루스락을 기반으로 폭발하는 사이키델릭을 더해 이성이 아닌 감각적인 음악을 선사하는 밴드 써드스톤과 만난다.
써드스톤은 지미 헨드릭스 익스피리언스(Jimi Hendrix Experience)의 곡 'Third Stone From The Sun'에서 영감을 받아 만든 이름이다. 2007년 7월에 자체 제작으로 [1집 Third Stone]을 발표했고 2009년 [2집 I'm Not A Blues Man]을 발표했다. 블루스와 하드록에 밀착된 성향의 음악을 선보였고 2013년 11월에 발표한 [Psychemoon]을 통해 마침내 써드스톤의 독창적인 사운드를 만들어냈다는 평가를 받는다. 최근 기존 멤버박상도(기타, 보컬), 안성용(드럼)에 박진원(베이스)을 새롭게 영입했다.
