The Qantas Fight Simulator experience is ideal for aspiring pilots from aged 12 to 80 who have always wanted to be at the controls of a commercial airliner and experience what it's like to be a real life pilot. Qantas Flight Training operates an advanced and extensive fleet of full motion flight simulators. The fleet of simulators operate on a mix of both hydraulic and electronic motion platforms. These multi-million dollar devices are rated by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority as level D training devices, the highest rating that a simulator can be given by the Australian regulatory authority.

Qantas Sydney facility contains the following simulators;

The simulators contain state of the art visual fidelity, motion and sound. This allows crew to be trained in all aspects of normal and non-normal operations; including instrument approaches and landings in a variety of weather conditions from heavy snow fall to stormy conditions.

The Qantas Flight Simulator Experience will principally be conducted in a Boeing 747-400 simulators. The authenticity of the flight deck is second to none, instantly immersing you into the world of a commercial airline pilot. You will feel the acceleration and deceleration of the aircraft as you control the throttles. Every bump, turn, surge, sway and roll will leave you feeling like you're at the controls of a real aircraft. A truly unique and exciting experience!
