The Sweden men's hockey team was dealt with a major blow prior to their matchup with Switzerland as Henrik Zetterberg is out with a herniated disk for the remainder of the Sochi Olympics. It did not phase them. Henrik Lundqvist pitched a shutout, stopping every shot that came his way. Daniel Alfredsson scored the lone goal to put Sweden atop Group C.
