A young architect from Beijing has bucked the trend and made a name for himself by building magnificent cultural landmarks inspired by nature in a number of major cities. His recent works include the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles, the FENIX Museum of Migration in Rotterdam, and Shenzhen Bay Cultural Park.
His name is Mǎ Yánsōng, and he’s currently holding his first solo exhibition in Hong Kong to showcase his previous landscaping and architectural designs. Alice had a chat with him.
