Perpetuation - Wing-Po So (Visual Artist)
Wing-Po So was born into a family of Chinese medicine practitioners and has been examining medicinal herbs for fun since she was young.
To her, the medicinal ingredients in the apothecary cabinet are nature in a dehydrated state and, even more so, essential materials for artistic creation.
She combines the philosophy of Chinese medicine with contemporary art, giving rise to reinterpretations and conceiving a fantastic imaginary world.
Through her artworks, she hopes to perpetuate tradition in a different way, one which also perpetuates her deep affection for her family.
Producer: Pui-ki Lun
Mutualism - Chun-yip Lo (Actor / Documentary Director)
Chun-yip Lo describes himself as a quiet, passive, and carefree person.
He is an actor as well as a documentary filmmaker. Looking back on his creative journey over the past decade, “smooth” would not be his adjective of choice.
Fortunately, what he has experienced through his two creative identities has taught him to incorporate the people and things that he cherishes into his works.
This mutualism between different creative identities guides him to explore continuously, face himself candidly, and look forward to the future.
