Ballon d'Or 2013 - Ronaldo vs Messi vs Ribery

To no surprise the FIFA Ballon d'Or award is clouded with controversy. The shortlist contains Real Madrid star striker Cristiano Ronaldo, Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery and Barcelona's injured star Lionel Messi. All have created superb highlights in the game with wondrous play, but Messi is injured and has been hurt for some time, resulting in Barcelona losing key matches and much attention being shifted to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Should PSG's main man be on the shortlist?
