Germany made a statement during the first match of Day 5 at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil by blowing out Portugal and their star player Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo, regarded by many as the greatest soccer player on Earth, did not get many good looks and could not put a goal on the board for Portugal as they fell to Germany 4-0. Pepe was given a red-card after head butting Muller from the German team. Pepe will be facing a suspension, we are not sure how long that suspension will last though. All bad news for Portugal as they face the United States in their next Group Stage Match.
