UFC 197 provided two headlining fights with Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson taking on Henry Cejudo and Jon Jones return to the Octagon for his interim title fight against Ovince Saint Preux. Jones and Might Mouse won in relatively easy fashion, after Mighty Mouse dominated Cejudo with lighting quick body shots in the first round, while Jon Jones worked Saint Preux with a series of kicks landed and takedowns in the championship rounds. As for the rest of the card, Anthony “Showtime” Pettis dropped a fight against the Brazilian Edson Barboza and Yair Rodriguez provided the highlight knockout of the night with a roundhouse finish.
