The UFC Should Give McGregor His Featherweight Belt Back

Conor McGregor was stripped of the Featherweight Title, one in which, according to the UFC, McGregor willingly gave up two weeks after winning the Lightweight Title against Eddie Alvarez. The UFC does not allow two belts to be held simultaneously, and while the UFC does not revolve around Conor McGregor, the Featherweight division now has two interim title holders (Holloway and Aldo), who will likely unify it at UFC 208 in Brooklyn. Here’s an idea, give the belt back to the guy who never lost it in the first place, and make him defend it against the winner of Aldo vs. Holloway.
