The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 112-95 at Staples Center on Sunday, yes, you read that correctly. While the Warriors still own the league’s best record, the loss came at the hands of the youthful Lakers backcourt duo of Jordan Clarkson and D’Angelo Russell, who combined for 46 points. The Warriors greatest strength worked against them, as Steph Curry and Co. shot 4-of-30 behind the arc and failed to win any one quarter of the game. Kobe Bryant made sure to fire up his team in the huddle, stating that he wanted to see them “beat the shit” out of Golden State.
