The Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 104-89, in Game 1 of the NBA Finals at Oracle Arena on Thursday. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were not the leaders, as the Warriors bench, led by Shaun Livingston’s 20 points, came up huge in aiding the starters. LeBron James played 41 minutes and fell one assist shy of triple-double, but it was not enough for the Cavs to pull a win out on the road. Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green caused nightmares in transition for Cleveland, as the defending champs were able to pull away healthily in the fourth quarter.
