Messi Gets His Chance at a World Cup Final [Argentina vs. Netherlands Recap]

Anybody hoping for 8 total goals in the second semi final match between Argentina and Netherlands was very disappointed as neither team was able to net a goal. The match finished 0-0 in extra time and resulted in penalty kicks where Romero made two beautiful saves on Hollands first two penalty shots, thus swinging the momentum in Argentina's favor. The defensive match, well played by both teams, was rather dull, but Messi is well deserving of his shot at a World Cup trophy as the Argentinian captain will face Germany in the World Cup Final on Sunday.
