Hi everyone and welcome back to ‘Power Up Your English’! I’m your host, Michelle, and I’ll be giving you tips and talking through ways to get YOU to excel your English.
Do you have siblings? Cousins? How old are they? Older? Younger? Well, what about babies? Ever been around a baby? Helped to look after them? What about change them, bathe them, or even feed them?
If this all sounds unfamiliar to you, then don’t worry. But it is something to think about…what would we do if there was a new baby in the family? How would we cope? Would you know what to do to help or support?
In today’s episode, we’ll explore:
● What to expect
● How to interact with a baby
● How to help/support
● Practical vocabulary to use when congratulating someone on their new arrival
(Music of lullaby and baby crying sfx)
Oops…shhhh…let’s not wake the baby!
