Steve Sarkisian’s head coaching job at USC was terminated Monday afternoon after he was put on leave by Athletic Director Pat Haden. Sarkisian’s USC tenure was a roller coaster of both emotional wins, losses and red flags in part because of alcohol. Many remember back in August, when Sarkisian was drunk during a pep rally looking to fire up the fans, and Sark’s alcohol problems stem back to when he was Head Coach at Washington. Some pundits believe that his drinking narrative is being overplayed, most recently discussed through Colin Cowherd’s radio show.
