The Golden State Warriors completed a 92-86 win over the Spurs, handing their fierce rival its 1st home loss of the season and denying San Antonio a chance to top the ’85-’86 Celtics (40-1 at home) for the league record, while tying Chicago’s 72-win record from ’95-’96.
If Golden State beats the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, they’ll secure the best record in the history of the NBA. While this sounds easy on paper, Golden State beat them only 100-99 Saturday so you never know.
The Warriors/Spurs game,started slow and the first break ended tied at 35 at the break. In the second half though, Golden State eventually figure out how to pull away.
