We get to know WONG Hoi-man (Milk) mainly because she has two sons with different degrees of autism. Whenever the “Little Star” hosts an event, Milk will show up with her sons and take up the role of the person-in-charge.

However, the story behind this iron lady is an unhappy childhood. Milk has never met her natural mother, and she does not even have a photo of her. In addition to taking care of herself since she was a child, she had to help her stepmother take care of her younger siblings, and was even beaten by her stepmother. Although she suffered from such physical and emotional harm at a young age, her experiences have made her stronger.

Although Milk maintained a distant relationship with her father, she was grieved when he passed away, and she strongly felt the bonding of blood. As a result, she wished to have a happy and complete family, but unfortunately she failed to get pregnant after marriage. She was about to give up when she finally got pregnant, and gave birth to a child with special educational needs. Milk spent all her efforts learning how to take good care of her son. And three years later, she gave birth to her younger son, who was also a child with special educational needs. Nevertheless, Milk was not downhearted, as she considered herself well equipped with most of the necessary knowledge. As such, it should be not difficult to take care of her younger son.

Boarding a vehicle, having a haircut and taking a family photo are all normal daily routines, but they are no easy tasks for families with autistic children. Milk works hard to organise activities to stop people discriminating against children with autism. To her, happiness is to give what you can offer and love other people. Even the scattered stardust can twinkle.
