Redskins Trademark Canceled!!

The US Patent and Trademark office cancelled the trademark on the Washington Redskins team name earlier today. In what is an obvious step to force current Redskins owner Dan Snyder to change the name of the team from its current racial slur of "Redskin", many senators across the country are calling for the name to be changed as well. Maria Cantwell and Harry Reid both offered their opinions on the matter.
