UEFA announced the finalists for the Best Player in Europe award and to nobody’s surprise, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were atop the leaderboard. Two-thirds of Barcelona’s attacking three were honored as Luis Suarez joined Messi and Ronaldo as the third finalist for the award. While all are free to battle royal in the comments section regarding who deserves the award (Messi or Ronaldo), the other players who were graced with a vote or two included most of Juventus (Pogba, Buffon, Vidal, Tevez) and only one Premier League player (Eden Hazard) made the Top 10.
