2014年的佔中案今星期宣判，九名被告涉及的大部分控罪成立，其中佔中三子陳健民、戴耀廷及朱耀明被裁定一項串謀犯公眾妨擾罪，罪名成立。在案件宣判前夕，《議事論事》訪問了其中兩名被告，包括佔中發起人之一的陳健民和立法會議員邵家臻，他們分享了面對審訊的心路歷程，以及對香港民主發展的寄望。歷時79日的佔領運動，是近年香港最大型的社會運動，對香港有甚麼意義和影響?民主派爭取全面普選落空，社會出現撕裂，支持民主的人士陷入低氣壓，香港未來會何去何從?

Before the hearing, LegCo Review spoke to co-founder of the Occupy Central Movement Chan Kin-man and lawmaker Shiu Ka-chun, who told us how they felt as well as their hopes for Hong Kong. The occupy movement, which lasted 79 days, was the largest social movement in Hong Kong in recent years. What significance and influence does it have for Hong Kong? The democratic camp’s fight for universal suffrage has gone in vain.
