1989年發生的六四事件至今已30年，不少港人因工作與內地有關而避談六四，近年一些本地電影、音樂或出版書籍方面，關於六四的題材亦逐漸被淡化或被消失。香港大學新聞及傳媒研究中心早前有研究顯示，不少網上曾成功發佈對「六四」的暗示話語或圖片在順利發出後亦被刪除，顯示有更進一步限制及監測。

最近，內地網民亦發現香港流行曲《人間道》，懷疑因歌曲暗喻六四在內地網上音樂平台被移除，歌手黃耀明的歌曲亦傳出被全面下架，但他上周出席記協周年晚會時，發表有關六四的新歌《回憶有罪》，悼念六四。

30年來，六四事件雖然在中港兩地逐步淡化，但亦有人努力不懈不讓這段歷史回憶被抹走，《議事論事》將一連三集播放「六四30年」特輯，細說社會對六四的變化。

The year marks the 30th anniversary of the June Fourth Incident. In mainland China, publishing words that directly refer to June Fourth is almost impossible. In Hong Kong, although there is a free flow of information, quite a number of Hong Kong people are worried of political vendetta. As self-censorship and willful forgetting become increasingly obvious, will this piece of history one-day fall into oblivion? How are those who fled China to live in exile? And how is the book on the legacy of Tiananmen passing it on?
