Autumn is the season for cured meat and fat snakes. When temperature drops, people often have snake soups to warm their stomachs. Yet in fact, snake-eating is not confined to the cold seasons. Though the times have changed, the stock of snake soup is still prepared with carefully selected ingredients to keep up with the modern taste buds. And there is the sticky rice to go with it. Snake soup will always remain one of Hongkongers’ favourite local foods.
